CALOR is Funcinating's warm, dessert-bright IP. Where GISMOW is mischievous and TARTI is gothic, CALOR is the one that treats beauty as a way of living, and wants to hand that feeling to everyone it meets.
Who CALOR is
CALOR is a little "life artist." She looks delicate, but that's protective coloring. Inside she's all daydreams. A cloud, a breeze, an oddly shaped stone, the way sugar grains land on a dessert, any of it can set off a whole imagined story. Her world runs loud with color, and the point of her is wanting to share that color with everyone she meets.
Angel's Kitchen
Somewhere in CALOR's heart is a corner called Angel's Kitchen. The cooks there aren't chefs exactly. They're emotion-spirits, each angel assigned one feeling to look after, and they don't cook food. They cook happiness, plated as a kind of custom emotional feast. The lineup reads like a set of little jobs:
- Cooking Weather, the mood meteorologist, blending sun, rain and wind into the right feeling for the day.
- Cooking Sweet, who seals tender moments into frosting that never melts.
- Cooking Seasons, who simmers the fleeting light between seasons into a color that heals.
- Cooking Memories, an interstellar traveler sailing a river of memories, refining the best fragments into lasting sparks.
- Cooking Happy, who finds the joys most people miss, colors them in, and lets them out.
- Cooking Dream, busiest after midnight, gathering the day's crumpled feelings into seeds for good dreams.
- And the hidden one, Devil Angel: dressed in the dark but soft underneath, the best listener of the set, the one who quietly catches the mood you can't say out loud.
It runs as a 6-plus-1-hidden blind box, around 16 cm, in ABS and plush, with the big soft wings and macaron palette that define the line.
Calorie Girls
The other main CALOR series makes the sweetness literal. Calorie Girls are characters built out of food: takoyaki, dango, onigiri, milk tea, grape, sea-salt and peach cones, jellies, a strawberry donut, even fries and a hamburger. It's the snackable, pop side of CALOR, same life-artist spirit, more sugar.
