On August 15, 2026, FUNCINATING introduced GISMOW "What MOW Is That?", a plush blind box series built around 16 cat personalities and two secret designs. Each character comes with a cup-shaped plush base, and the cat charm can be removed and paired with a different base. The series launched online first, followed by an offline release at MINISO stores in China on August 16.
What is in the GISMOW plush blind box series?
The collection includes 16 regular designs: All-in Mow, Snare Mow, Aloof Mow, Mist Mow, Ember Mow, Bond Mow, Bastion Mow, Vow Mow, Aurora Mow, Unison Mow, Solace Mow, Spark Mow, Rover Mow, Shimmer Mow, Verve Mow and Edge Mow. Abyss Mow and Reverie Mow are the two secret designs.
Each design uses a different color palette, expression and personality cue. The characters are approximately 12 cm tall and use polyester fibre, ABS and PVC. The removable design gives collectors several display options. A cat can stay with its original cup-shaped base, switch to a different base, clip to a bag or sit on a desk or shelf.
How the blind box works
A single box contains one random design. A whole case contains 16 non-repeating pieces. If a secret design appears, it replaces one regular design, so the case still contains 16 pieces. Abyss Mow and Reverie Mow each have separate 1/96 odds.
The ZIYU Special Box
