On August 15, FUNCINATING launched “What MOW Is That?” with ZIYU. The 6,666 ZIYU Special Boxes sold out within seconds, while the first 24 hours brought more than 1.47 million store visits, 44,000 buyers and over RMB 9.3 million in Douyin transaction value. The campaign also extended to social media rankings and outdoor screens across six Chinese cities.
GISMOW's "What MOW Is That?" plush blind box series brings together 16 regular designs and two secret editions, each built around a distinct cat personality. The cat charms separate from their cup-shaped plush bases for flexible display, while each secret has 1/96 odds. The collection first launched online on August 15, 2026, with an offline rollout following one day later.
MOCO Bear Tiny Footprint Guide goes on sale August 8, 2026. The plush blind box series includes eight regular designs and the secret Clearing Light edition. Each 16 cm plush charm draws on childhood memories, daydreams, courage, and unfinished plans, with a strap and keyring for bags or display. Created by BJD artist Guiche Moco, the collection turns familiar scenes into nine distinct characters.
GISMOW's Fantasy Forest Friends Gen 2 moves its apple-hatted plush characters into a storybook woodland. The blind box series includes eight regular designs and one hidden edition, with each figure measuring about 14 cm and combining a soft plush body with a molded PVC face. After launch, the series reached the FUNCINATING store, TikTok Shop, Amazon and AliExpress for collectors outside mainland China.
On November 6, 2025, all 52,000 ZiYu x GISMOW limited gift boxes sold out in nine seconds on Tmall. More than 437,000 shoppers had added the box to their carts before launch, and the drop generated about RMB 10.35 million. The set includes two limited GISMOW figures, four collectible cards, a handwritten ZiYu letter and a presentation box.
FUNCINATING named ZiYu the global ambassador for GISMOW on November 6, 2025. The partnership centers on the character's theme of companionship and extends beyond campaign imagery into product releases. Its first major collaboration was a limited ZiYu x GISMOW gift box featuring two co-designed figures, collectible cards and a handwritten letter, which sold out on launch.
GISMOW teamed up with SOURI for a theme store event featuring Thai actor and SOURI CEO Win Metawin alongside Mick Metas. The campaign used the hashtags #GISMOWxWinMick and #GISMOW_Meets_SOURI, bringing GISMOW's plush characters to Win's Southeast Asian audience. The event connected the art toy brand with an established local lifestyle business and gave fans a chance to see the collaboration in person.
